We use an inspection camera to look inside duct runs before and after cleaning. It reveals debris build-up, crushed or disconnected flexible ducting and moisture staining that are invisible from the outlet. Footage is reviewed with you on site.
From the room below, a ceiling outlet shows you almost nothing. The grille hides the collar, and the collar hides the duct behind it. An inspection camera on a flexible cable lets us follow the duct well beyond that point and record what is actually there: the depth of dust on the duct floor, loose insulation, crushed sections, joins that have pulled apart and staining that points to moisture. It replaces guesswork with something you can see on a screen for yourself.
We use the camera at two points in the job. The first pass sets a baseline and tells us which branches carry the heaviest load, which in turn shapes the cleaning plan and the tools we choose. The second pass, after cleaning, confirms that each branch has actually been cleared. If a section still shows build-up, it is cleaned again before reassembly. Footage and stills from both passes feed into the photo record you receive at the end. Nothing is assumed.
Sometimes the camera finds problems that cleaning cannot fix, such as a duct that has dropped off its spigot or a flexible run flattened under roof timber. We show you the footage on site and note it clearly so you can raise it with your air conditioning technician. Knowing about a fault early usually makes the repair simpler, and it stops you paying to clean a section that needs replacing anyway.
Yes. Some owners want to know the condition of their ducts before deciding on anything further. We inspect a selection of branches along with the plenum, show you the footage and explain what it means. If cleaning is not needed yet, we will say so plainly rather than push for it.
That depends on the duct type, the number of bends and where we can gain access. On most residential branches we can follow the run from the outlet well back toward the take-off. Where bends limit the view, we may enter from the plenum end to see the remaining section.

How it works
We review the system layout, duct type and outlet count, then run a camera inspection to record baseline condition and identify any defects.
The system is powered down, outlets are sealed as needed, and a HEPA-filtered negative-air machine is connected to hold ducts under suction.
Each branch is cleaned with brushes or air whips toward the collection point. The plenum, return air and outlets are cleaned in sequence.
We re-inspect with the camera, reassemble, test airflow at outlets and provide before-and-after photos with brief notes on system condition.
